custom word art and inspirational prints for sale!

I began making these word art collages last winter for myself and have had several people who have visited my home ask about them. I thought about it for a while and decided to start selling them to try to raise money so that I can go to the retreat for moms of near-drown children that I went to last fall again this October. My plane ticket will cost me in the neighborhood of $400, so that is the biggest bulk of the expense.

These prints are large, most are 10X20 and the family name est. date ones can be anywhere from 12X12 to much larger. Since each one is custom made the prices vary on those. Each print is unique as I try to use different letters and colors schemes to make them interesting but neutral enough to compliment any decor. If you'd like a black and white or sepia toned print I can do those as well. The family name print with the names in script below are $25 each up to 8 letters. You can also choose to have your prints framed as well. Here are some examples:

This print I did for my mom. It was fairly large, 12X16 if I recall correctly. I found a pretty

black frame with mat on sale at a hobby store that worked perfectly for it.

this one would work well with just the word "family" and a quote or your family name and family member's names as you can see in another example. There are many possibilities so if you have an idea for something specific just run it by me and I'll see if I can do it.

This one was for a customer who requested a gray or silver and black scheme.

This 10X20 print was made as a gift for my son's preschool teacher of 2 1/2 years. We just love her and wanted her to have something special. I also made smaller (5X10) prints for the teacher's assistant and my younger son's teacher as well.

12X12 print was designed as a Christmas decoration,

but would also make a pretty 5X5 Christmas card design

This is the first one I made for my family, the finished print is an 11X11 and is

framed in a large 19X19 black frame. It's an interesting piece and I've had lots of compliments on it.

The following are the inspirational words that I've done. Each has a bible verse or you can choose to have a quote instead of the verse. They can be purchased alone for $25 each or $60 for all 3. You can also purchase them framed for $60 each or $150 for all 3.

Wedding Stationery

I am gradually trying to build up my designs, so if anyone is interested in having me create something for them, please contact me. I worked on this "Save the Date" card yesterday and thought it turned out well. Very simple but elegant, and I can customize the colors. There will be matching invitations, enclosure cards, thank you cards and return address labels as well.

I absolutely loved these pictures of this adorable little baby so I had to use them in a design!
The colors are changeable if you don't like the particular shades I used. This would also look great with black and white images.

Holiday cards and new gift items!

I am currently working on a collection of holiday cards and I will have them posted within a few days.

I also recently met a photographer, Amanda Tyler, who wants to offer my photocard designs to her customers! We're both excited about this, and hope that it turns out well. Check out their website! Only the photocards will be available through them, but if anyone is interested in flat, double-sided or folded press cards, and other stationery, they are still available through my site. The photocards are still available through my site as well if you don't go through their studio or want to use your own photographs.

I am working on matching address labels and sealing sticker designs as well.

In addition to all of the cards, I'm working on some new gifts items. I have some great, comfy crocheted slippers and baby booties/shoes for sale. These are custom orders so there are a wide range of color combinations! I'm trying to find a good unisex or men's slipper pattern and will have those available as soon as I find a pattern I like. These are great for Holiday gifts and baby showers!

I just reorganized things a little and have revamped the pricing structure. I have tried to offer options that just about everyone can afford. You now have the option of printing your own photocards or having me print them for you. And the double-sided and folded card options are still there.

Every card I have can be edited to suit whatever printing style you choose. Custom card designs are always available. I enjoy being able to create new designs and will work with you to create the perfect card.

I did these new designs to show everyone that most, if not all of my designs can be converted to be used for any purpose. I can recolor or move stuff around a little, change the wording and you can go from a baby announcement to a wedding invitation. In this case, I made a baby announcement and a bridal shower invitation.

I got a new design finished today. It takes so long to do one especially when you've got a 2 year old running around. This particular one is called "neopolitan" because it is done in chocolate brown, pink and white. I will recolor it for a boy and post it soon. Hope you like it! beginnings

So this is my first post on my new blog for my stationery business. I am hoping to be able to arrange it so that people can make purchases right here using pay pal check-out.

I will be offering a variety of announcements, cards and invitations. Currently I have some older samples that I have done, but I am working on some new designs. To add more variety and styles, I will have some work from other designers as well.

Most of what I do incorporates photos, although, I can create designs without photos, if one so chooses. I will offer some photo editing and enhancements (converting from color to b&w or sepia and colorizing.) Most designs are available as photocards which are printed professionally on photo paper. Press printing is available as well. Press printed cards are printed on quality card stock and have a nice, finished professional look. Envelopes are included in the price of all items.

Photocards are much more reasonable, and if you would rather print them yourself, that option is available to you. Once you have approved your proof, I will send you a .jpeg file of your finished card and you can take it to your photo printer.

As you can tell this is a work in progress. It is my goal to have everything up and running soon. Please bear with me as I continue working on this.
